ship/BB-58_Indiana024.jpg 24 October 1963, Towed out into Puget Sound from the Bremerton, Washington Naval Shipyard to begin her final journey to Richmond California where she was scrapped. The trip took eleven days.




ship/BB-58_Indiana025.jpg 04 November 1963, Under tow, last voyage under the Golden Gate Bridge, enroute to Nicolai Joffe Company, Richmond California, where she was scrapped. The Indiana's last voyage from Puget Sound to Richmond was scheduled for ten days but was delayed a day by heavy seas.
